Then brush gently and thoroughly for at least two minutes, being careful to poke in between teeth and along the gum line. Don’t worry if you notice bleeding- this is a sign that you are stirring up infection and will ease over a few weeks. Brush the tongue. Spit rather than rinse as this allows the toothpaste to continue to fight decay and gum disease.

Children should use a small pea-sized amount of regular adult toothpaste like Colgate. Adults should use Colgate Total.
